When managing a network of over 10 million accounts, even the most robust systems face new challenges. At MLM Soft, we recently undertook an ambitious project to optimize our platform for a client with a pre-existing user base of 10 million accounts. This milestone marks a significant achievement in enhancing our platform’s scalability, ensuring we deliver seamless performance for some of the largest networks in the industry.

Overcoming the Challenges of Scaling Multilevel Marketing Platforms

Operations like network tree rendering in NRM and the personal back office, account searches, and authentication processes required a complete recalibration to handle millions of users efficiently. Additionally, complex calculations during period closures needed to be streamlined to avoid performance bottlenecks.

One of the most significant challenges was reengineering how data is processed. Previously, large-scale operations involved loading the entire network into operational memory, which proved inefficient and unsustainable for such a large client. To address this, our team developed a phased approach to data processing, optimizing calculations and tree updates on a node-by-node basis.
